Building a Bird's Nest

Yesterday at lunch I watched this robin, start building this nest. By 5:30pm when I left this was the finished product.

The funny part is, this vehicle was just parked out back behind the shop at 10:30am and we'll be bringing it back in to finish the work on it this am. So all that hard work for nothing.

Kind of reminds me of a story I heard in Bible class growing up..."the wiseman builds his house upon a rock, and the foolish man builds his house upon the sand."

This picture of the robin can apply to a lot of areas of life: home, work, retirement, business, eternity, etc.
